In the framework of ProColombia Nature Travel Mart 2018 that took place on April 3rd, 4th and 5th in Yopal Casanare and with the purpose of create business opportunities for nature tourism entrepreneurs and strengthen their capabilities, we performed different action that allow us to communicate the importance of sustainability and generate impacts in the region.

Among some of the actions performed, we published our sustainability report, we train more than 80 entrepreneurs about good sustainable practices and promote a tree planting initiative with the foundation “Saving the amazon” and with the Amazon’s indigenous.

The most important action was the delivery of ecological badges to the attendees. Those badges that were returned, were delivered to the reserve La Fortuna. This reserve is in the heart of Casanare, were 48 entrepreneurs planted the Guayacán seed included in the badge. 165 trees were planted in 3 hectares, compensating 46 tons of Co2’s carbon footprint of the event.
