Bogotá hosted the young leaders’ conference, One Young World, which was held for the first time in Latin America and provided a space for representatives of over 196 countries to discuss issues such as poverty, economic growth, transparency, minorities, and education, among others.

ProColombia supported this event from its recruitment to its execution in October 2017, empowering young Colombians to generate projects that will change people’s lives. Colombia was chosen as the host country in order to send a message of reconciliation and commitment to peace to the national and international community of the future.

Additionally, all the themes addressed during the event were developed in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, supporting their dissemination and the importance of working towards the fulfillment of these goals as an international objective.
